Prime Time - Senior Adult Ministry

Prime Time's Mission

Prime Time is the name given for City Church people 50 years and better as we feel we are in the prime time of our lives. We are grateful for God's faithfulness and blessings throughout our lives. In appreciation of His blessings, we now want to give back into the lives of others as freely as God has used others to give into ours. Prime Time has basically three main purposes/goals:

Community Service

The Prime Timers value being active in serving.  A few ways they honor this is through being a part of serving meals at the Ronald McDonald House, collecting food for the River Food Bank, working at Evangel Life Food Bank, and coming alongside City Church's Children's Ministry in assisting with many of their outreach programs/events.

Church Service

The Prime Timers take part in service at the church by being responsible for preparing and serving meals for funerals and other church functions, overseeing the preparation of the communion elements, volunteering for office work, having a monthly small group, and being involved in other ministries as volunteers.

Social Activities

The Prime Timers get together on a monthly basis for the opportunity to make new friends and deepen relationships while enjoying good food.  Other monthly activities have included going to The Fireside, fish fries, the Milwaukee Museum, and the University of Wisconsin Marching Band.
